Growing Old - I rang their number on four occasions, selected option three and waited, and waited, and waited.
I then rang their emergency number and waited, and waited and waited.
All I wanted to know was when my present contract was due for renewal but grew older and older and older whilst I wait for a reply.
It is however now irrelevant since I have now taken out a new policy with Sky and am now starting to feel younger.

rubbish service - they called me three times trying to sell me extra warranty. i had asked them on the previous occasions to take me off their list. they didn't. when i called to complain i was told that there was no manager there to speak to, eventually i got to speak to somebody who said "are you calling for a reason or just to moan? we're busy here you know."
rubbish customer service, rude and in breach of the Telephone Preference Service rules (complaint logged and waiting for response). avoid these guys like the plague, if their after sales service is as bad as their customer service then it'll be very bad.

What a load of rubbish! - There's nothing good to say about this company really. I had been paying them £5.99 a month for over 4yrs and when I contacted them to get my Sky+HD box repaired, I was told it was not covered as I had only been paying for a Sky+ box. To be fair the Manager relented and said they would come out and repair the box. None of their engineers work Saturdays this so all appointments are during the week. Due to me working full time I asked if the engineer would call me an hour before he was due at my house so that I could leave work and be at home in time for him. After several missed appointments due to the engineer not phoning me, eventually one did but said it would be between 9am & 1pm. I ended up having to take the whole day off as holiday! When he arrived, he pushed a few buttons and said, "That's doing nothing, I'll have to send it away for repair. It could take a 2 to 3 weeks". 2 - 3 weeks!!! I thought that was poor. He replaced my box with a Sky+ box as a temporary fix. However, it locked up within 5 minutes of him leaving so it cant be used for recording anything and if you watch a programme for longer than 5 minutes & wish to change channels you have to unplug the box & reboot it.
2 weeks passed & I contacted their office to ask when I would be getting my HD box back as it had been 2 weeks and at the most 3 weeks. "Oh dear" the girl said, " I dont know why the engineer told you that as it will take about 8 weeks". HOW LONG!!! With that and that my first call to them was 5 weeks ago, I have stopped my payments. I have phoned them 3 times to find out what is happening. Each time they say the service department manager will phone me - but guess what? He never does! Take my advice, steer well clear of this company as they offer a very very poor service and have no concept of providing 'customer service'.
