Pricey but awesome. - I really like crepes, a lot, so I'm always excited when I get to find a new spot to eat them. This place delivered, I had a jambon fromage (ham and cheese) crepe to take away and it was awesome and super full of cheesy ham goodness. The only thing was that it cost £5.30 - now I know there's this whole global food crisis thing going on and rising oil prices and its probably getting pretty hard to come by exotic ingredients such as cheese and ham but seriously £5.30!?!?! You grated some cheese on the crepe, put 2 bits of ham on it and then folded it with the spatula, its almost less labour intensive than Macdonalds! I mean don't get me wrong, the crepe was awesome but way over priced - looking at the menu they do all sorts of 'crimes against creperie' crepes such as chicken and pineapple, or mussels and squid!!! Plus these cost £8 upwards?!?!?
The crepe was however awesome but still, its just a bit of cheese, ham and crepe mixture right? £5.30!

Hope of Good Crepe - There's no doubt that the Kensington Creperie is a cute place to have lunch with a friend, and they do make a really excellent crepe. The cafe is a really tiny space so it can be packed full, particularly when I want to eat there it seems, but you can always get a crepe to go if the weather is nice.
The one major downside is that the crepes here are really expensive, £7-£8 for an average sized savoury crepe - hard to swallow when you can get roughly the same amount of food for about £2-£3 at any of the local sandwich shops. If you are in the mood for a crepe though, they really do make some delicious ones here with really good ingredients and they have a long menu filled with interesting choices, and the whole place feels plucked from the streets of Paris.
