best vegetarian meal - at first, i was a little put off. i entered to really loud music and stood waiting for eye contact to tell me someone would be with us. i mostly wanted to get a sense of how long the wait was. the waitstaff were busy, but a little nod to say we'll be with you soon would have been nice.
otherwise, i LOVED this place. fantastic menu. food was delicious. staff were very attentive once we sat down.

Best veggie place in London - I agree with all the other reviews that Mildred's is yummy yummy yummy! I'm not even a vegetarian and could live off this food it's so tasty. Every time I'm in SOHO now, I try to go there. They always have their standard menu that hasn't changed for a while with about 10-12 great dishes from burritos to salads and soups and pastas but also a daily special menu which always has great stuff on it. The flavours of their dishes are exciting and interesting. I love their sweet potato fries and their grilled veggie tortilla starter (which is enough as a main) with beans and guacamole. And their fresh juices are wonderful too.

The best veggie place... - This place is fantastic. I was introduced to it about two years ago and its not been topped since. The variety of food is fantastic and very tastey. I take any veggie I know there and they love the place. I go there whenever i'm in the area. The portion size is good and the prices are fair for the great quality of food. The service is pleasant and its always busy in there.
I would Tip this place to anyone, this is good food at a great price.
You can get anything from veggie burgurs to pie and mash there - the daily specials are always interesting too.

my favourite restaurant - I've been visiting Mildred's ever since it moved to its current location and never tire of it-excellent food spanning a wide range of (veggie and vegan) tastes, and sup[erb organic wines and beers. Even the sometime moody waiting staff have won me over. It's quite a media friendly place (this is Soho, after all) but well worth a visit. They have a great private function room that's great for parties too. Check out the pictures that adorn the walls..

Sweeeeet Potato - First things first...I am not nor will I ever be a veggie. Bacon sandwiches are too good to miss. But this place is a great veggie restaurant with a really nice range of food that means that there's something for everyone without having to develop a taste for tof. Their veggie burgers change regularly, with the sweet potato and carrot burger being a personal favourite.
If you've got veggie friends impress them by bringing them here, and if you've got staunch meat eating friends you might just be able to convert them.
