DeCecco is a traditional Italian restaurant with a small front terrace. Helpings are generous, and all ingredients are as fresh as you will find anywhere. The wine list is good, and service very hospitable. The atmosphere is loud, and people come back on a repeat basis. Booking is advisable. They also provide outside seating on the terrace.

Modern classic - Just off Parson's Green, De Cecco is a Fulham old timer with well over twenty years under its belt. And there's good reason why it's lasted... good food, good service and good location. However, despite being five minutes walk from Parson's Green tube, De Cecco has always seemed to be more of a local restaurant than a destination one. Still, you have to book for a table at prime time starting mid-week.

The decor is simple and classic. Clean white walls, elegant table settings and the place's layout mean a relaxed service which suits the long, deep space.

The food is classic Italian, though at the upper end of the scale. Sure there are pastas, and very good too, but the other dishes should be explored when at a restaurant of this calibre. The Osso Buco and scallopini are fantastic if you're veal-minded, or any of the fish dishes are also sure to deliver.

De Cecco isn't cheap by any stretch of the imagination, however many Fulhamites use it as a place to pop out to. Still, if you're looking for a nice place, perhaps for a treat, then look no further
