Underground tailoring - There are three ways for a man to become a real man. You can: have a son, build a house, plant a tree or have your suit sewed for you by a tailor. And that was my friend’s dream- to become a real man somehow. Because he couldn’t afford to have a baby or house, he decided to go for a suit. We found a place in East London where he could fulfill his everlasting dreams. Hussan Tailoring was supposed to help him but didn’t even bother. We popped in to that neglected place and ask for the prices. The gentelman (Hussian?) gave us a strange look and told us they don’t sew anything there and they don’t deal with tailoring. It was really dodgy as there were people sitting in front of sewing machines and there were many textiles on shelves…Our effort of starting conversations didn’t end up with success as ‘Hussain’ left the room and was observing us from the other one. ..It was like in a black comedy.
Times are difficult, companies money-oriented so I want to express my admiration to Hussain for detailed selection of his clients (despite credit crunch) and interesting- underground tailoring for chosen ones only.
