Not as scary as all that really! - The dentist was very understanding when I told him about my fear of drills. He did everything he could to make me feel comfortable and even managed to make me laugh! Thanks to everyone for making my root canal a bit less scary.

What a transformation! - The Barnton team have really worked miracles, they’ve changed me from a person who was ashamed to smile in public to someone who can’t stop smiling! Very grateful for all their help and hard work, I’ll never miss a check up again.

pleased - bone grafting for implants really scared me and I almost didn’t go for the treatment because of it but Barnton showed me all on 4 implants, which you don’t need much jaw for. I had them all placed in my next appointment after the consultation and they feel just like real teeth. so pleased.

wish id found it sooner - I do wish I’d come here sooner but I’ve always been sceptical about cosmetic dentistry. Dr Khaira did an amazing job on my veneers though and I’d gladly come back for more work if I needed it.

such cheerful dentists! - I moved to Edinburgh 7 months ago and started coming here for regular check ups. The staff are great, it’s weird (but good) to see cheerful dentists! The practice looks great too, lots of high tech equipment that looks professional. Would recommend to anyone and everyone in Edinburgh.

My new dentures are amazing - I lost a number of teeth as a result of oral cancer, but Barnton sorted me out with an amazing new denture. They were completely honest with me from the start – I had wanted implants but they explained that due to the cancer I wouldn’t be a suitable candidate for them. So it’s good to know they’re not just out to get money out of their patients. I’m really happy that I can finally smile again.

faith restored! - I was terrified of going to the dentist but was desperate for a perfect smile. after years of not going, I finally plucked up the courage to call Dr Khaira. I live just outside of Edinburgh but as soon as I went to my consultation I knew it was worth the commute. My veneers have made such a difference and there’s nothing to be nervous about at Barnton Dental Spa.

True Experts - After moving to Edinburgh 9 months ago, a concern I had was finding a dentist as good as my previous one. I started coming to Barnton for check-ups and have not been disappointed. Not only are the staff welcoming and friendly but they use all the latest equipment which proves that they are willing to invest in a truly expert service.

can't stop smiling - I had a decayed tooth removed by my previous dentist, but really needed the gap filling as the look of my teeth made me unhappy and my other dentist didn’t provide a lot of options. A work colleague recommended Barnton Dental Spa and I’m so glad she did- not only could they provide a solution but they helped me come to a decision about what was best for me. I had a single dental implant inserted to fill the gap and now I can’t stop smiling and come to this clinic for all my regular check-ups!

Really good for frightened patients - I have always been terrified of going to the dentist and it took a lot of courage to come here but I have to say they have been brilliant with me and know exactly how to help me so I don't feel anxious or frustrated.

Great service lovely staff - I cannot sing the praises of this practice enough. My wife is now very happy with her teeth and is able to go to the dentist whereas this time last year she wouldn't even go to the dentist. the dentist and nurses are very patient and so helpful.

Fantastic staff - My sister and I came here to get some cosmetic treatment before my sister got married. We were both shocked at the cosmetic treatments on offer and all the technology they had. My sister had whitening and I had veneers and both our teeth look fantastic.

Very helpful - I was unaware of the different treatments I could have for the gap in my teeth. That is until I came here. I thought I would have to have braces but they just filled in the gaps. Brilliant.

Great for scared patients - I have been scared of the dentist for as long as I can remember. I would only go if I was in major pain and even then I would resist at times. I have been coming to Barnton for a couple of years and although the fear never completely goes away I know now that there are other option s for things like sedation so I can have treatment without so much anxiousness.

Will come here again - I moved to Edinburgh last year and started coming here for check-ups etc. The staff make the place what it is, very relaxed and friendly and cheerful.They have lots of high-tech equipment, most of which I have no idea what they are or what they are used for! If you live in or near Edinburgh I would definitely try it.

Smiling with pride :-) - I had zoom whitening treatment here and after unsuccessful home attempts at teeth whitening I have finally found the treatment for me.My teeth have gone a really natural white shade and they really do make my smile and mouth look happy and healthy. Lovely nurses and dentist too.

Braces at 45! - I decided to visit this dentist as a new patient and was apprehensive at first. I needed a brace as my teeth had relapsed (from when I had the brace as a teen). I didn't want a brace because I'm 45! However, after receiving the Inman Aligner (which you can hardly see!) I am very happy with the results. The staff were very attentive and I can't recommend them enough.

Inman Aligner - I recently had my teeth straightened/aligned with the Inman Aligner, which is a fairly new treatment and a great alternative to conventional braces, as it works much faster!

Smile Makeover without any nerves - It's not always easy going to a new dentist and as a new patient I was so nervous. Dr Khaira made me feel at ease straight away and once my treatment started he explained what treatment I would be getting at each stage of my smile makeover. I don't feel so nervous now and am thrilled with my new smile.

Transformation - I have always wanted a perfect smile, but have had a phobia of going to the dentist. I put the decision off for many years but decided to consult Dr Khaira (better known as Pritz). Although I stay through in Glasgow, I made a trip to Edinburgh for my initial consult, and it has been one of the best decisions I have ever made! My new veneers have made such an incredible transformation.

Inman Aligner - I went to Barnton Dental Spa for the free consultation with Dr Khaira who talked me through the options and suggest the Inman Aligner for me. In particular I had one front tooth that protruded, which I was always quite self conscious about so I was keen to have something done about it, but didn't want to wear braces for a year or two! The Aligner did impede my speech a bit but the good thing is that it is removable, and it is virtually pain free, apart from a little discomfort for a few minutes when taking it out and putting in back, but only for the first couple of weeks. The whole process only took 10 weeks from start to finish and I am absolutely delighted with the result!!

Perfect Result - Once the aligner had done the bulk of the work in moving my teeth I changed to a clear retainer which I wear full time at the moment. No one ever knows I am wearing it and I'm so used to it being there. As the treatment progressed it was encouraging to see the changes and it's clear that Dr Khaira is passionate about his work. We went on for an extra few weeks to get a final perfect result.

Great Customer Service - I had the Six Month Smiles treatment at Barnton Dental Spa. The service I received throughout the duration of my treatment was second to none. Right from Gursinder's warm welcome at the reception desk to Dr Khaira's complete reassurance and great sense of humour in the treatment room, I felt entirely comfortable at every stage of the process.

braces - Braces were a bit more expensive than I expected, but I guess that is just the sign of the times. However, the work they provided truly is priceless and I cannot believe I have suffered for so many years with a horrible smile, when I could have had them straightened.
