Reviews
Please don't go here - I'm tempted to write a really bad review for this place. Why? Because I don't want you to go here and ruin it for me. You see, all you're going to do is read this review and think 'Brilliant', fill up the theatre and probably take the seat I want. Then you'll take issue with the fact that I can't help myself from talking to the characters on screen during the movie. You'll probably tell me to hush up which will annoy me.
But I can't be that selfish and keep this place under wraps. You see, this wonderful independantly owned cinema shows new releases (like movies currently playing at Odeon or the View) for £3.
Okay you know the secret now. On mondays you can see any one of a multitude of films that show in other theatres for upwards of £11 a ticket, for the bargain price of £3. And on regular days the tickets are only £5.50. *sigh* You're probably going to rush out right now and book ticket online.
Well let me advise you that it's best to find out what they're showing on their big screen as the other screens are somewhat small.
The big screen is massive and the seats are comfy and properly placed, so that even if you're short like me, you can still see.
Avoid the popcorn at all costs as it's too salty or too sweet dependig on what you get.
If you get there early, there's a pretty classy bar on the top floor which even makes cocktails.
So there; I hope you're happy. But I swear to God, you better not take the first seats on the left when you walk in the theatre, and tell me to shush during the film.
