Dr J O'Keefe - Dr. O'Keefe has taken me from a nervous wreck to a confident patient who can get up on the morning of my appointment with no fear what so ever. He is personable and thorough and has cared for my teeth and my diabetes that effects them. If you have diabetes this is the dentist for you he has a very good understanding of all the associated problems and that eventually it does take a toll on the teeth and gums in particular but is emphatic and caring in dealing with the emotional issues this raises.

I think there great - I've been going there on and off for 15 years or longer and I think there great , always been downstairs dentist, his good with me and my children,
The only downside, can get a pram through the doors and the staff at the reception are bit off sometimes

Worst Dentist - I would never recomend these two dentists to my worst enemies. The have ruined my children teeth. The dentist has never checked their teeth properly and when I took them to a different dentist it was to late and they lost two teeth each!!! One child had five cavities and the other one seven!!!! Dr O'Keeffe never spotted one cavity in three years!!

Brilliant dentist - I have just had an emergency appointment at this surgery and private treatment after. It was the most positive experience I have ever encountered at a dentist. I was seen quickly, on time, friendly and understanding staff and explained the procedures very clearly.

One of the reviews below almost put me off attending - but is it really a dentists fault that they have met their NHS quota? No. If you are concerned about NHS treatment then contact your local PCT and direct your complaint there or find an NHS dentist who has not met their quota - this information is easy to find.

I now look forward to my future dental treatment at St George's and will be advising my friends of the top class dental treatment I received there.

I can't stress how much the dentist put me at ease and the high standard of care I received.

Professional Care & Personal Servic - All dentists are limited in the dental care that they can provide to restrictions in funding. Here at St Georges Dental we provide the highest levels of professional care and a personal service and we are always sorry when expectations are not met. Sometimes we simply just can't provide treatment due to funding issues and we are always in open dialogue with the PCT over this matter. Notwithstanding, we provide emergency care every day to anyone who calls irrespective of whether they are our patients or not.

Poor patient care - Just about the worst patient care I have ever experienced.
The practice claims to be kind and considerate towards nervous patients or patients with medical problems, not at all, be aware this dentist is not trained to todays high standards,is arrogant and not interested in your condition if it affects his work and will pass you over to any other dentist. I am thoroughly disappointed in the NHS system if this sort of attitude is accepted. Over the years I have paid in over £40,000 into NI and only seem to come across NHS dental practices that treat people with disdain.
