the ultimate burger! - if you want the best burger in the uk, u must come here!
the quality of the meat was incredibly juicy and the bread slightly toasted and super soft inside...wow! the only thing that let this place down was the soggy fried courgette chips.
however, u must try the strawberry milkshake which was so thick and tasty with chunks of strawberry in it..yummmmm!
so to wrap it up...love burgers, goto byrons, nuff said!

Almost as good as Hache... - I've had an on-going debate with a friend about who does the best burgers in London - I insisted it was Hache, he insisted Byron. Of course, the flaw in my argument was that I hadn't tried a burger from Byron, so on Saturday lunchtime, off we went.

When we got there I was somewhat alarmed to find lots and lots of pushchairs at the front door. Dining with children has never been a favourite of mine, but luckily they seated us away from the hoardes of children. Service was efficient and friendly.

As for the burger - for comparative purposes, I ordered the same as what I had at Hache, a blue cheese burger. It turned up a perfect medium, as requested. It was very tasty indeed, and the accompaniments were perfect. However, Hache has the slight edge over Byron as it was a touch more mayo than I'd have liked - still, it was very good indeed. Oh, and they serve Sierra Nevada Pale IPA which is the best beverage to accompany it. 19-01-09
