Worst salon I have visited... - Had a Groupon for a facial and massage and have just returned from it feeling worse!
I walked into the salon and the receptionist/hair stylist was on the phone to her friend. I stood there for a minute or so before she finally turned around and asked "how can i help?" whilst still on the phone. I said i was here for a facial and she told me to wait upstairs.
I went upstairs and took a seat. My appointment was booked for 1pm. Whilst waiting for the beautican, all i could here was the receptionist/hair stylist gassing on the phone to her friend - very professional...
The beautician took me to the room at about 1:15pm. She asked to take the top half of my clothes off. She didn't give me any privacy and just stood there waiting. The facial was very rushed and i didn't feel she cared. Although saying that, it was quite nice and i felt as though the beautician knew what she was doing. When she finished, she said "ok, finished!" and opened the blinds.
I quickly got dressed and ran straight out the salon. No "Goodbye" or "thanks" from the receptionist.
Never ever going to visit this salon again. No matter how cheap the offer their services at.

Dye and run! - I took my daughter to Shades for a treat to cheer her up. Unfortunately for us, the girl doing her hair was miserable and totally disinterested in her job. No hello and no interest whatsoever in my daughter. As we had booked on line through Groupon and had already paid we decided to grin and bear it and get out as soon as we could. That turned out to be much sooner than we expected! Rather than the highlights we had paid for, the girl slapped bleach on my poor daughters' head with no respect or care for her. On seeing the result once it had been washed out, we ran out of there with my daughters' hair still wet, jumped into a taxi and headed straight for our local hairdresser. Wish we'd followed our instincts and high-tailed it straight out of there paid or not!
