Central, for better and worse - In terms of quality and facilities the hotel is the next step up from the Travelodge. It is a slightly better experience for slightly more money.

Its major feature is that it is extremely central, on the edge of docks at the end of Bristol Bridge (Google Maps places it incorrectly further down Welsh Back). This makes it a great place to visit any part of Bristol, anything is about a half hour walk away.

However it is also very noisy at night due to the proximity of Kings Street and several beer tents/boats on the quayside. The hotel was as used by several stag/hen nights that rolled up after midnight. That's the price you pay for being in the heart of the city.

This is a hotel of the practical head rather than the heart.
