shocking customer service - I am so shocked at the level of customer service I have just received from the Winchmore Tandoori (situated at the top of Wades Hill) that I feel compelled to write this review and tell others about it so that they don’t receive the same level of rudeness. After waiting an hour and 15 minutes for a take away, when phoning to check where the food was I was told that some one had been and was sent away from the house. I’m then abruptly told that if I want the food I need to come a collect it myself. What I can’t quite get my head around is that if the delivery person was sent away why wouldn’t the restaurant call me to ask why? Surely that would seem odd to anyone with half a brain especially considering I had paid for the food already! After questioning this with the restaurant manager Zamian or Miah Ahmed (not sure as he gave us two different names) he continued to rudely insist that someone had been and was sent away. No apology for the wait, or acknowledgement that there had clearly been a mix up. It is obvious to me that they went to the wrong door but he wouldn’t even consider it to be a possibility, it felt like I was being accused of lying and the tone of Zamian or Miah was simply rude and certainly unacceptable for someone in a managerial position. Unfortunately my husband and I were left hungry and hugely disappointed. It’s a shame but I certainly won’t be going back to the Winchmore Hill Tandoori.
