The Maze Inn is a large restaurant and bar decorated in Georgian glamour that serves a variety of dishes consisting of different European cuisine's. There is an extensive bar with a selection of largers, bottles and spirits. There is also a range of wines and cocktails available. The bar area employs a strictly over 25's age policy. The establishment also has a funky and fashionable dress code with no caps, hats, hoods or track suits allowed.

A -Maze-Inn!! - I l-o-v-e this place! and not just because my friend's brother co-owns it, but it's local (for me), food is excellent,prices moderate, service good, staff warm and welcoming, music's funky and tasteful, the ambience and the decor can rival any up-market eaterie in the West End or any other cosmopolitan city.

There is also private room for party hire and a lovely lit garden behind the restaurant area which is opened in the summer. During the Winter you can see it through the wall to wall glass doors. There are also chairs and tables in the front gravelled area.

This gem only opened a few years ago and word is getting round fast. No one, so far, that I have taken there has been disappointed. It is recommended that you book table ahead if you are going to eat in the restaurant.

The same 2 guys own the Sun Lounge just up the road in Southgate in early 2008 or so. Haven't been there yet, just passed by, but I am sure it will not disappoint.

Enough said, just try it!

...and it's also just across the road from Oakwood station (PiccadillY Line) which has a cab office in it... you really can't complain! 17-09-09

The Circle Bar, Cockfosters - When my friends took me to the newly opened Circle Bar in Cockfosters, (directly opposite the tube station) I was overawed by the transformation of the place that I knew as Fellini’s restaurant. I gasped as I entered this uber-stylish, enticing venue, which is almost as intoxicating as the amazing selection of gorgeous cocktails it serves. A fun and friendly crowd partied on the dance floor until the small hours to the latest soulful, funky house tunes and smooth R&B. The staff were just as charming and courteous as crowd The Circle attracts – there’s certainly no room for any negative attitude in this place! The reasonably priced drinks could certainly rival any West End night spots, in fact the whole place is certainly a taste of the West End without all the laborious effort required of trekking up there. Well done to the team at The Circle, I can’t wait to return. 08-07-08
