Best club locally - Crystals - well what can I say? Myself and friends all being local find it convenient, good atmosphere, very good value and the range of music good also.
Admittedly a lot of us started to go more regularly since the heady days of that iconic nightclub in Croydon Cinatras ----but Crystals in many ways certainly reminds me of a smaller version of Cinatras, whilst maintaining its very own distinctive flavour....mostly lager and a combination of shorts!!! lol
The age range is varied also, which is good. Although in my very very very early 50's I sometimes feel as if I am back in my 20's, with the exception being when I am embarking on one of my many break dancing routines on the dance floor -this is when I need to sit down and take a well earned rest.
So yes I would recommend it especially if anyone out there wants a convienient reasonably priced place to go to with good company and vibes to die for.
And if anyone takes my advise, goes and enjoys themselves great - and by the way mines a pint of fosters lol.

Great Experience! - I'd just like to say that I think Crystals Nightclub in Crystal Palace is an ideal place for a brilliant night out.
I have been going there for a couple of years now on both Friday and Saturday nights. The music and atmosphere is always excellent and I have never gone home disappointed.
The club is ideal if it's your birthday, hen night etc. as the management will reserve your tables if you let them know in advance and they will do all they can to make sure you enjoy your night.
Drink prices are excellent, the dj's are always good and play an excellent range of music for you to boogie to. I've made many friends there.
I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Crystals to anyone.

crystals discotheque woo hoo - crystals night club....well what can I say? Ever since the demise of Cinatras in Croydon a few years back myself and my drinkie pals wondered where we could go.....considering our ever increasing age ( we are all in our late 40's or in my case 50 argh ).
Crystals yes thats it...its local, convenient, with a ticket you can enter for £1 before 10.30pm and on a Friday night its half price drinks all night long.
On Saturdays it is more expensive for the drinks but even there to be honest its a good night out. On top of that the mixture of music is about right and for those fagolics smoking facilities outside are available at the back.

nice.. - I love this place. I threw a birthday party here years ago and have been back there many times since. I can't rate this place highly enough in terms of service and you are definitely guaranteed a good night out when you come here!

Wow What A Night - This has to be the best saturday night out if you're over 25 !!!Great crowd , and superb music, everything from the latest dance rnb gargae to 70s & 80s with a bit of party thrown in. If your looking for a fun night out come and enjoy the place. Big shout to resident DJ Dave for the mix of everything you could want played.

Couldn't have said it better myself - Crystals Nightclub
The club manager, Penny Fuller, can always be found in the club whilst it is open, because unlike some other club managers, Penny insists on being "hands on" with the running of the club. When you arrive at Crystals, Penny is the first person you meet. She makes all visitors welcome, whether it's your first visit or you are a regular. The people who enjoy Crystals generally return time and time again, and it is very rare that anyone is a one-time visitor. The club has an ambience that is all too rare on today's club circuit. It is warm and friendly, instantly making everyone feel part of the fun. No one feels awkward or out of place at Crystals, mainly due to the professionalism of Penny who makes sure everyone enjoys the night.
The bar is staffed with friendly, experienced staff. Prices are exceptionally affordable with a large choice of brands. Getting a drink is never a problem (another rare thing in some other clubs).
Crystals has undergone a major refurbishment during 2002, with walls being torn down, floors being raised and guard rails being individually welded by craftsmen on the premises. This refurbishment has taken place over many months, leading to a major re-launch with a date set for early summer. The alterations have been carried out during the week by a large team of professionals that have never once caused the club to miss a night of opening. All plumbing, electrical work, security systems and decor have been transformed along with the main structural changes. The new Crystals is looking excellent. We have been assured the new sound system and lighting will be spectacular.
The resident DJ is "Curty". He is extremely popular with all the club goers and is more than happy to play requests until 11pm. After this time he plays all the music that over 25's want, combining classic groove with up to the minute hits. He manages to get everyone onto the dance floor, singing and dancing to the sounds we all know and love.
Within the club there is a security team that works each night in a manner that makes them unnoticeable. Quietly professional, they run a very tight ship, guaranteeing that your evening at Crystals is incident free. No detail is overlooked by Penny and her hand picked team, thus guaranteeing a memorable night out.
