Kitchen Refit Nightmare - I enlisted list this company last September to design and install a new kitchen, followed by a bathroom. I was assured it would be completed before Christmas. I was fobbed off with excuse after excuse and the fitters finally started at the beginning of January. When the kitchen was ordered items were agreed that the proprietor Ken Warner subsequently either forgot, got wrong or denied agreeing to. There have been a catalogue of problems, too many to list here, but the fitters left my property in the 2nd week of February with four drawer fronts missing. Inspite of constantly chasing Ken my kitchen is still incomplete. Ken ordered the wrong size of drawers and whilst he said he would reorder he took them away, cut the ends off (not a good look in a Shaker style kitchen) and badly scratched them in the process, and then tried to pass them off as new ones. I am now in the position of having to buy replacement drawer fronts from someone else and I'm in the process of submitting a claim to through County Court. I have also had electrical and gas installations that I cannot get him to certify.
