A great, fun salon to be a part of! - I have been working with Martin for three years now and have enjoyed every year. He has been very good to me taking me under his wing and he looks after us all, we are like a little family.
With there being so many stylists under one roof we are able to cater to every need, be it the lastest fashion to everyday wear!

what a great place to work ! - I have worked here for 3 years and did my trainng here it was excellent and im now enjoying my own clientele, Its a fab place to work and all the girls are fab,Martin the boss is a great boss and is always there for all of us.

I couldn't rate it highly enough!! - I have be going to flyntz for a very long time now and couldn't rate it highly enough!! The staff are incredibly friendly and always very welcoming! There is always a fantastic atmosphere in the salon and a real family atmosphere amoungst the staff! Martin the manager himself is an inspiration to all the girls working there, taking them under his wing, guiding and supporting them. I have had my hair cut and coloured numerous times by martin himself and the stylist Leah and have never left unhappy! Martin has always taken time to listen to my ideas and offered suggestions and consultations...he really takes time with his clients and that's a rare thing to find! I have had more than enough problems with cuts and colours in other salons around the area and am just relieved I have finally found such an amazing place! I would recommend anyone and everyone to go to flyntz!

A**** would recommend to all!! - I booked to have my hair cut with Leah.. she was extremely knowledgeable, professional, REALLY friendly.. & there was a great atmosphere!! It was also the best cut I have had in a very long time. I had some dodgy layering that needed sorting, so was a bit nervous, but she listened to what I said, made me feel completely at ease, & I came away with exactly what I wanted. A**** will definitely be going again & would have no problem recommending to all x

In retaliation! - 'Tipped' that I should read this site by ex Flyntz stylist!

Okay here if you already have fantastic hair- or make up for it by being under 25, but if you should have a problem the owner will justturn away.
Re the previous comment which I have just read;
I think you are very naughty & spiteful, Martin. Did you tell 'suzi' that Sally always paid her way for the trims, by purchasing expensive hair products & tipping the girls well? Did you mention that she patronised as a regular client until she dared complain when you messed up & how you were not interested? Have you told suzi too, how you gossip about your clients? (you did it with me) And does she also know how unhappy your girls are due to your behaviour...& why they leave as soon as they find more suitable employment?
Sorry Martin - this has had to be said. Very disappointed in you - but not totally surprised.

EXCELLENT!! SALON, - HAVING JUST BEEN TO FLYNTZ FOR THE FIRST TIME THROUGH RECOMENDATION I LOOKED UP THE NUMBER BY GOOGLEING THE NAME THERE I SAW THE TIPPED REVEIWS AND WAS CONCERNED AS I WANTED A COLOUR CORRECTING THAT HAD GONE HORRIBLY WRONG AT ANOTHER VENUE IN STRATFORD,WHEN I CALLED THE RECEPTIONIST I WAS PASSED ON TO A GIRL CALLED MARRIANNE,I WAS INVITED TO CALL IN THE SALON FOR A TEST PATCH AND CONSULTATION ,,WELL WHAT A SURPRISE I HAD, THE SALON IS VERY INVITING AND DECEPTIVLY LARGE,MARRIANNE PUT ME COMPLETLY AT EASE AND SOON HAD A SOLUTION FOR MY HAIR ..I RETURNED 2 DAYS LATER, MY HAIR WAS PUT BACK TO MY ORIGINAL COLOUR WITH A FEW FOILS ,,SUPERB ,I MENTIONED THE COMMENTS ON TIPPED TO MARRIANNE WHO TOLD ME THAT THE SALON OWNER HAD INVESTIGATED THE TWO NEGATIVE COMMENTS LEFT,APPARENTLY THEY ARE FROM AN EX CLIENT CALLED SALLY FROM A VILLAGE NEARBY WHO USE TO HAVE FREE HAIRDRESSING IN THEIR JUNIOR TRAINING EVENINGS,WHEN THE FREEBIES ENDED SHE BECAME A BIT BITTER AND STARTED WRITING NEGATIVE COMMENTS,,A BIT SAD REALLY AS USEFUL COMMENTS AND ADVICE ARE EXACTLY WHAT TIPPED IS DESIGNED FOR ,ANYWAY I HAVE NOW BEEN BACK TWICE AND ENJOY MY TIME OUT WITH MARRIANNE,HOPE THIS HELPS YOU CHAPS AT FLYNTZ AS THE REVIEWS ARE IMPORTANT !!!

Don't go here for hair colouring - I went here a few years ago now, and from the other reviews it doesn't look like it has changed much.

I went there to have my hair coloured blonde, and after an hour and a half in there it was bright orange. The team member was very apologetic and had a spare block of time and offered to fix it for me then and there, which I thought was great.

Although she clearly did her best and even consulted other team members, after 3 hours sat there, my hair was still ORANGE. I don't mean a tinge of orange, as I know this can happen, but it was BRIGHT orange.

I've never had any problems getting it dyed elsewhere and have ash blonde hair already anyway, so it's not usually that difficult. I think they clearly need more colour training at this salon.

Best Salon ever!!! - Went to this salon a few months ago, was very impressed with the service i recieved, the girls were all very friendly and professional. Would definately recommend! Had my hair cut with a girl who was very competant in what she was talking about, and as a result recieved one of the best cuts i've ever had. To the bad review below , i would strongly disagree as i found my visit very pleasant and would definately tell all my friends about how satisfied i was!!!!!!!!

i had my hair cut with martin the manager. he was very knowledgable about which style would suit my hair. the atompshere was very welcoming and the all the staff were very freindly. will defently be coming back to the salon again for my highlights and cuts!!!!!!!!

Flyntz - Worst ever!!! - Very disappointing...Definitely not to be recommended! Visited salon for colour. So-o-o many mistakes were made - the colour was awful & a complete hash was made!

Really wish I hadn't returned either...more colour & strong bleach was slapped on top of the awful one...Although I was polite and very tactful,I don't know why I bothered as Martin(the cheeky-chappy owner) deliberately ignored and avoided me & left the same hairdresser to "rectify" her own mistakes.I didn't really want an apology, just a bit of empathy & colour correction....
I got neither...just fobbed off with excuses...and the worst condition my hair has EVER been in!

Don't venture in Flyntz salons unless you have great hair to start with - & then plenty of time & money to get it put right elsewhere..
CUSTOMER BEWARE!!
