Space NK Apothecary is a recent addition to the shopping scene and has achieved almost cult status in a very short time. The reason for this is that Space NK stocks a ranges of cosmetics and skin care that used to only be available abroad.

All samples no stock - I think I picked the wrong day to visit Space NK. I've been past this upmarket beauty store on many occasions but felt put off by its gorgeous staff and pristine environment. So when I eventually wandered in I was quite pleased with the assistance from the staff. It was a good balance of knowing when to leave you alone (browsing) or when to offer advice (testing). But unfortunately, as this was a rare make-up purchasing trip, I was very disappointed when 3 of the 5 products I wanted were out of stock. Just not good enough, so I went to Selfridges and found what I needed instead. 19-05-08

It's all about product - I usually avoid Space NK like the plague. This isn't because I don't like the place. This is more to do with the fact that I lack any self control when it comes to buying beauty products. And me in Space NK is like a kid in a candy store...

They have a great range of products that can beautify your skin, your hair and make you smell pretty all while lightening your wallet - considerably. But then again, beauty doesn't come cheap, now does it?

Metrosexual men will also delight in their selection of products. 08-11-07
