Lovely tasty meals - Hi all, myself and my hubby (Thomas) usually go for coffee at Starbucks at Kew Station but walked by The Kew Greenhouse and decided to have lunch there instead. I orderd a veggie lasagne which I can honestly say was very tasty and packed full of veggies (more veggies than pasta). The meal was served with a very generous portion of lasagne, three types of salad (coleslaw, bean and green salad) which were all fresh and crunchy. Thomas had a slice of their steak and kidney pie which was huge with similar salads. We were both suprised at how "big" the meal was and I must admit that my tummy was happy until late Saturday evening when I just had something light to eat. Thomas also had a slice of home-baked chocolate cake which was enough to feed two people! In fact he didn't finish it! They had a lovely savoury and Gateaux Counter Display which would make anyone's mouth water! You select your meal, inform the salesperson and then have your meal brought to you. This is a gem of a place and we will definitely be going there again!
