Yum Yum not Nice Nice - I have been a customer of Yum Yums for more than three years now. I know it has changed ownership once or twice and perhaps more often, over the years - but I as of today they will no longer have my custom. Went to place my usual order (telephone order)which I have always had delivered - that's the point of me ordering a meal from Yum Yum in the first place - convenient when I'm short of time but want to enjoy a treat, however this time I was told, by a very rude and abrupt staff member that they will not deliver unliess the order is over £15. I can tolerate the .50p charge for the use of a debit card but was not prepared to size up my order (for one person) just to meet the £15 minmun charge for delivery - especially when it takes the moped driver not more than 8 minutes to reach my address. I told the staff member to cancel the order and instead took the trouble to make a nice home cooked meal and saved myself a bit of money. I won't be ordering from them again.

Bland food and dishonest - The big sign in the window offers 'buy 1 get 2nd half price'. I placed my order and was charged full. When I realised and asked for the 2nd half price I was told I had to specify the deal at the time of ordering do that they could adjust the portion size! Surely that's illegal advertising? I asked for a refund and that was refused. The woman serving was very dismissive and abrupt. Eventually they agreed to charge half for the rice if the portion size was reduced. When I got home I found that the main was half size and the rice full size. Robbery. I won't be going back there again. Food was below average too. AVOID.

Raw food with no flavour! Yuk Yuk! - I've eaten from many Chinese restaurants and take aways and I have to say this was the absolute worst of all!
I bought home some chow mein, the vegetables were raw, the noodles were hard, it had no flavour and to top it all up the food was completely dry! I would never ever buy from this place again! A complete waste of money!

greasy food - Went to check this place when they first opened and was very dissapointed. Food at Yum Yum is just too greasy. Shame for such a addition in the area.
