Situated in the basement of Bamford & Sons, this London branch of the award-winning Daylesford farm shop in the Cotswolds serves fantastic food from the farm shop, including delicious homemade cheese ploughman's, pork pies, salads and more - expensive but stunning quality.

Swank People Watching - I've come a few times with friends in the neighborhood to this swank cafe/grocers/butchers. The place is done up in whites and greys, with a massive communal dining table of marble taking up a big portion of the main room. There is also a counter lining the main window looking out over the street to sit on, and in good weather several tables outside for people to take in high end coffee, pastries or smart lunches.
The clientele is naturally upscale, and expect to see a fair amount of yummy mummies pushing perambulators that may well cost more than your SmartCar (and probably have better suspension, too). The food is, obviously, expensive, with a small cappucino coming in at £2 and the lunches starting at around £10 all the way up to £20. Still, the service is quite good and the surroundings are chic enough to make you feel like you must be a special person who deserves especially expensive food.
There is also a small market with a selection of organic produce, fresh pastries and breads, a small butchers and what looks to be a pretty impressive cheese monger. They additionally have a wine cellar downstairs, although I haven't really examined the selection, and a sign advertises a home furnishing department upstairs, which I can only imagine sells £75 salad mixers and £25 wine openers. Well, if you got it, flaunt it as they say.
