Best sit-down fish and chips around - This is a great place and definitely the best place in plymouth to go for fish & chips if you want to sit in; quite possibly the best for take away as well.

It almost feels like a Breton "local's favourite" restaurant, very vibrant and friendly. The catch of the day option has not disappointed on both occasions I've been there. There are other dishes on the menu, pastas, etc, but fish & chips really is what you're going for otherwise there are plenty of other good restaurants on the Barbican.

It can get busy so I'd book ahead but if you do have to wait they'll send you to the pub next door and come and get when your table is ready. 18-02-09
