one unhappy customer - impressions salon always impressed me with their seemingly professional staff until i had a very nasty experience. i had been a customer on and off for some years when one day i went for an oil treatment on my relaxed hair to attend a special event. the hair stylist suggested a hair product. i had a look at their prices, and knew i could get it cheaper at a shop 5 mins from them as their products are overpriced & i left it there. on leaving the salon i got a text asking me to pay for the product. despite my explanation, i was accused of shoplifting. at first they said they had footage showing me shoplifting. when i asked to come and see the footage, i was told there were 2 witnesses who saw me stealing the product. as a newly qualified doctor i worried about my reputation and my day was spoilt i did not enjoy the event i was so looking foward to. i have to add i had £78 treatment, & the product was priced £7!! i gave them my contact details & offered to go to the police station. they never reported it to the police.

great place to have a great hairdo - I have been a client for many years the staff always provide a high standard off service while doing an outstanding job. Always feel welcome and have never had cause for complaint. Well done to all at Impressions.

well... - right just to make a quick point to a review on here...when i got my extentions one time after 4 n half weeks i decided i wanted my lovely blonde hair to have brown lowlights in...i did it myself with a home dye kit n it turned out just how i wanted but it did look grey but that was the mix of colours and how it rested so for i curled it every day and it showed off the colours beautifully. plus u cant wash them all the time or theyll losen very quickly......
ANYWAY
i was nervous going the first time to this salon but was very suprised the service was quick and easing...they matched up my hair perfectlly...and the woman who did my hair was great although i cant remeber her name...the wevs were tight and she was very quick...everything exceeded my expectations....and have returned there twice a year for 3 years and everytime i leave satisfied...they even go the extra mile and blend your hair into the extentions so it doesnt look fake...id give this place 5 stars anyday x

Excellent Service - - I went into this hairdressers to update my shoulder length hair into a trendy short cut , upon arrival the salon is set out well -reception with plenty of products and information and the large modern salon behind the receptionst desk. I was greeted by a polite friendly female receptionst and led into the salon. I had my hair cut by a hairdresser called Sarah, who was lovely, i described the cut i desired an she listened and took her time with my hair. I am very pleased with the result and service - all the staff were friendly an the atmostphere was postive and vibrant - bearing in mind this was late afternoon on a Friday and most are in a rush to finish and go home. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to peers and family. I plan on going back for any treatment/relax/cut - i highly recommend Sarah who also specialises in colouring also. Also another pro was that the majority of the staff had various cuts and colours - which was great to use in order to compare contrasts and gain advice on different cuts and textures. An extremely pleased customer!

No hair extensions here! - I had saved up to have some hair extensions as I had aways wanted to have long hair. I decided to go to this salon as the price seemed reasonable. I wanted to have blond and brown highlights for my extensions, everything seemed to go well, when I returned home people were commenting that my blond extensions apeared to be grey,On closer inspection in the daylight, they indeed looked grey, however although this was not the look I expected I carried on regardless, after 2 1/2 weeks my extensions were loose and I had more and more comments on the colour of my hair. I had paid alot of money for my hair and although I dont like to complain I rang the hairdressers about this and they told me to come in so that they could take a look at it, which I did. Well I was so shocked at the responce, the woman who delt with me was very rude and unhelful, and I was told that the 2 colours I had chosen would make my hair look grey,I am only 21 and that there was nothing they could do about it, I was in dispare so I rang my mother, who also spoke to this woman, my mother was told the same, when she asked about why the extensions were falling out, she was told they would look at them, my mother said to me after the conversation that, this woman had no customer service or satisfaction skills and found her manner to be very rude and unhelpful.
Eventually having spent hours in this hairdressers trying to sort out my hair,that I didnt even want in the first place and told that they would take out the extensions, I was given back the grey hair and told that they would not be refunding me any monies. I had traveled some way to get my hair done after weeks of saving,I might as well as thrown it down the drain, I will not be recommending this salon to any of my friends or family ever.
