Bitterly disappointing - This review is straight from the heart as I sit here contemplating the dining experience I have just had at the Ocko Restaurant, Northampton which promotes Moroccan and Lebanese food.
Well, at a price of £25 per head and now seriously considering a late night takeaway less than 2 hours later, this really sums up the night.
The food (or lack of it) was poor – giving you an idea of the basement dining experience which was cold, dark, badly painted surroundings with averagely inattentive staff. More Eastern European than Moroccan in terms of general experience, if we’re being completely honest.
Seriously avoid this restaurant if you enjoy food. 2 out of 10. Brace yourself for an evening of overpriced disappointment, other than the full sized camel in the window which is the nearest this restaurant gets to authenticity!
