Great Restaurant with great staff - I was dining in the restaurant on the evening of the G man T group visit.
It is funny because the review written by him and the events that actually took place are so different.
G man T had in fact ordered monkfish and the little waiter with spiky hair had returned after a short while advising the party that the monkfish was not available and that the chef advised that he would be prepared to cook an alternative fish using the same sauce and spices.
A member of the party who still seemed sober compared to the wasted majority who were ignoring the waiter, agreed that this would suffice.
After half an hour or so and having eaten most of his meal the VERY DRUNK G man T decided that he did not want to pay for his share of the meal and started to be rude and aggressive towards the waiting staff.
It was disappointing as we also witnessed G Man T's friend quip that he always try's it on in different restaurants to avoid paying.
The little waiter called the manager and explained the dispute and the fact that everything was agreed and accepted in advance.
G man T and a few of his friends in a bully-ish manner name dropped the big cosmetics company based in Northampton that they worked for hoping to deter the manager from insisting on payment.
The restaurant manager responded calmly that he was familiar with the company in question and a number of their senior managers and directors frequented his restaurant.
As a good will gesture he waived the price of the disputed meal.
IT IS A SHAME THAT THESE TYPES OF REGULAR NON GENUINE CLAIMS PUT THE SMALL GENUINE CASES IN DBOUT!
P.s G man T I sincerely hope that your companies beauty products are not as fake as your claims................

Staff Member with bad attitiude - Will not be going to this place again after my first experience.
I was with a big party of people from work for a friends leaving do, there were about 25 of us . I ordered Monk Fish, waiter come to my table and said "Monk Fish" I said here thanks, the Fish was covered in sauce so I couldn't see it so I had taste and it was not very nice it was not Monk Fish it was more like a tasteless mushy cod, I call the waiter over a mentioned that this was not Monk Fish. he it is Monk Fish, I then got another waiter over and said it is not Monk Fish he said it was , finally some head waiter came over and said there has been a mix up and they have actually informed someone (not me) that there is no Monk Fish and offered an alternative pointing to the table furthest away of which the people I know and none of them had ordered fish or had a conversation on the subject. The head waiter said arrogantly , “we are not going to charge you for the Monk Fish, but we are going to charge you for this other Fish of which I have never heard of or ordered.” I had eaten some of the rice and vegetables before actually tasting the fish, of which I had eaten a few bites so I had eaten about 1/3 of the dish, I didn’t want to eat any more of this dish as it was not very nice and not what I had ordered. I said to the waiter , that I don’t want this and not to be charged this to the table. As my friend was saying his farewell speech, this head waiter (bald headed , chewing gum chewing) came up an a very aggressive manner telling my that I had eaten half of the dish and I was out of order. A female colleague asked the waiter not to be so intrusive. So he stood at the bar, I went up to explain why I was not excepting the dish, he was aggressive again got one of his waiters who was at the bar to explain that he went over to one of the tables, funny enough it was the waiter that was saying Monk Fish to me before handing it to me , strange how you would call a dish something that it is not. The aggressive head waiter had then said I was taking the Pi**, and bragged how company directors from my work eat there. I will not being going back there and indeed as a lot of my colleagues will not be as.
This experience spoiled a great night.

Top Food with Excellent Service - We visit the restaurant regularly and would never go to another Indian restaurant as nothing compares. The food is amazing and above all expectations. The service is one that makes you feel you are the only table in there, all the staff are extremely friendly and professional at all times. The food can be made especially for you, just ask. Its a family run business who pride themselves on delivering you an experience that is second to none. They cater for everyone, parties included and will make your evening special. We are that impresses with everything they have to offer we are having our wedding reception there!!!!!!!!

A good thing turned bad. - Despite previous good meals here, our latest experience has left us determined never to go back there.
The restaurant has been refurbished and it seems that the prices have increased to facilitate this. Would you expect to pay £17 for six King prawns with rice as an extra?
Despite booking a table, they had to sort one out for us. We were nearly given wine that we had not ordered but mainly, our main courses took ONE HOUR AND 45 MINUTES to arrive after several enquiries as to how long our food would be. No apology was received for the delay and on a previous occasion elsewhere when this has happened, free drinks were supplied as an apology.
Three other tables received their food before us despite arriving after us.
The food when it did arrive was poor quality, in some cases lacking in quantity and certainly not worth the prices being charged. Beware - the descriptions of the meals were inaccurate too.
All in all I'd advise against this restaurant and suggest the Spice Restaurant in Duston instead.
