A diamond in the rough - OMG how i miss living near this pub. It's a little shabby and haphazard but it's unbelievably friendly. A lot of the pubs in this area can be a bit depressing and old man/regulars, but the Beehive usually has a mixed crowd and one or two characters (which also makes it fun for people watching).

Because it's a little set back from well, civilisation, you can pretty much always get a table (although Sunday lunch gets pretty rowdy).

Actually if you're in the area (and hey! there are trying to turn the Walworth Road into a Ramblas-like thoroughfare as part of the regeneration so you never know) you should definitely drink here because it's head and shoulders above any other drinking establishment in the vicinity.
