Always A1 - I am surprised at one of the previous reviews because I have used this salon since it opened - even tracking down Stacey from her previous salon. I have used some Groupon deals at other salons but none of them come anywhere near the cut and service I have received @ Lushh. I can't speak for the other stylists, but Stacey has always been really spot on with my hair and it is Stacey I insist on when having my hair cut. When I ask to keep the length, it's kept. When I ask her advice, I get it. There is always consultation before my hair is cut. I have never had any issues with this salon whatsoever.

my hair cut - my first haircut at lush! great girls,lovely salon +a very warm welcome...even had a glass of bubbly.lovely lady stacy cut my hair as i wanted has been to meny salons,well barbers really and never really get what i want ,but my mate recomended this salon and i came out very pleased,will b visiting again!

Salon owner is stylist+didnt listen - This salon was funky and the stylist (Stacey) who was also the owner is in fairness very chatty and friendly.

On the salon's website there is a list of things they "believe" and one of the salon's mission statements is:- "we believe in listening to what you want".

Problem was when I went there I told her I didn't want a re-style and that I was actually happy with the cut I already had all I wanted was a 'tidy up' but she was more interested in her conversation with the customer next to me and obviously didn't properly pay attention.

A trim to the length of about half an inch was indeed carried out as we discussed but instead of cutting the same amount off my layers to maintain the style I already had (and said I wanted to keep) my top layers have been absolutely hacked. My top layers started off down past my earlobes but they are now as short as my fringe!

I dont understand why so much was cut off the top layers when that much wasnt taken off the length......?

I did try to explain I want to grow my hair but whilst I was talking about it she walked away from me mid-sentence!

I also explained I need to be able to tie my hair back but now when I put my hair up it falls out on one side which tells me that side has been cut shorter than the other and my top layers are so short they won't even go in the bobble at all!

The resulting haircut has left me with a somewhat square-headed appearance when I started out with a shoulder length bob with long layers.

I've come to the conclusion that I might as well let my hair grow for a few months and cut my own fringe for a while to let the top layers grow back and start again!!

My tip-dont go here unless you have or want a chopped-at haircut.
