getting parents car fixed. - Took mum's car to M and H autos or byngs garage, they own both, to have some work done on it, had few bolts fitted brake discs cleaned and few other bits done, picked it up and drove it away only for the brakes not to work properly and nearly ran into another car, only quick thinking of pulling handbrake that I never, was not told that the discs had been cleaned and that to be careful of driving it.
Then on way back to garage it kept jumping out of reverse when reversing so I said for them to keep it and sort out problems, after paying £350 for first lot of work. the boss who's called trevor said it was gearbox and that he had another one and that he would only charge couple of hours labour to fit it, however when I went to pick it up he had put down 5 hours labour £200 plus £90 for a new belt plus vat, total £348+ and the car wont drive properly now going forward, when you slow down it judders and jumps all over the place, so not only are parents £700 out of pocket my mum's car still does not work, in fact it's worse than when it first went down. So my advice is please do not use this garage and tell all your friends because you will be left skint and without a car to drive, and to top it off they won't refund any money.
