Poor Joinery Work - Got expensive quote from IQ Craftsmen manager for new glazed kitchen door to replace rotting door. In the event the door came without a drip at bottom which I specifically asked for as the lack of a drip was why the original door had rotted from underneath. Obvious, and a proper craftsman would have included it without being asked, especially as we had discussed it when he first came to have a look. But the IQ Craftsmen guy claimed I never asked for it so he hadn't included it in the quote. So it was all my fault. ?

Mistakenly I went ahead, as I couldn't get a date from another joiner I had used. I assumed I could fix drip myself later. Unfortunately, in addition to the manager being unhelpful, the joiner he employed on this occasion was also disappointing. The work was so poorly done that I will have to employ another joiner to refix the door. The hinges were not fitted properly and the door rattles. To add insult to injury, the window cleaner commented on the poor workmanship and said he could have done better. ?Pity, because I have used IQ Craftsmen before for electrical and other work and was quite satisfied, which is why I went back to them. But this time I made a mistake and as a result could not recommend them again.
