Pretty place, unhappy people - This is one of my local pubs and I really want to like it, but every time I go the staff are really unfriendly and rude and I end up apologising to the people I've invited there. A shame as the location is great and the decor is relaxed. I wouldn't recommend it for the service, but the windows are pretty stain glass... not sure that's worth the trip though.

Friendly local pub - Excellent and friendly little pub that serves Samuel Smiths products. Staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is condusive to small groups wanting to simply sit and chat or simply to sit at the bar and listen to the regulars converse on the latest activity of the Chelsea Football Club. I make it a point to stop in whenever I'm intown from the US.

chef students' hang out - Samuel Smith's pub on Marylebone High Street! Good quality affordable beers, quality but a little more costly than the beer wines - all organic. Try the Cherry Beer, very nice sweet bitter and quite big.
After a certain hour all the students from Le Cordon Bleu around the corner are hanging out there. interesting conversations about guinea foul and swan shaped marzipan to eaves drop on ...
