Club Aquarium is a nightclub that plays a variety of Funk, House and US Garage tunes. Private parties can be accommodated upon request. Every Friday is 'Be Good' night.

Not as interesting as it sounds - We went there for an after-party of a colleague’s leaving do. The swimming pool installed in the club is probably the biggest gimmick of Aquarium. Arriving at 1a.m., we had to queue up for more 30 minutes before we could get in so we thought it would be packed inside the club. However, we found that there’re only less than 20 people inside when we finally got to get in, then why did we have to wait in the line for ages?
It was £10 to get in, £1 for the cloakroom, and around £6 for a single spirit and mixer. If you fancy going to the pool, it will cost you another £1. If you want to smoke outside once you’ve got into the club, another £1 for the wristband. On the other hand, the music is really boring – it’s so repetitive, music with similar rhythm and similar beat is being played throughout the whole night! We stayed there for about 2 hours and eventually we had to go because we couldn’t stand the music.
You can find people in different age groups in the club, though, and it becomes packed at around 3 a.m.
Perhaps we just went there at the wrong night, but I can’t see the point of going back again.
