The Washington Arms serves a variety of beers, wines and spirits as well as traditional pub dishes including breakfast, and is home to the Hampstead Comedy Club which takes place every Thursday and Saturday night. They also have a quiz night on Tuesdays. All major sporting events are shown on a large screen TV.

My local..... - This place is by far the best local I've had living in London. You get some really friendly staff, brilliant veggie/meat options and some really comfortable places to sit and spend a lazy sunday.

Saturday evenings are packed - and in the summer, being a short walk from primrose hill this is the place to enjoy the rest of the evenings.

You can stand outside, the streets usually quiet and you can enjoy your drink without any problems.

I was there last sunday, and had the nut roast (yep, I'm a veggie) and it was delicious - as always. My friends had the other non-veg options inc fish and the roast - plates were clean!

And its a great alternative if you can't get a booking at the hampstead pubs!
