An almost perfect plaice - Went to Sea Shell with a friend. We had a couple of great pieces of plaice and some chips. We also had garden peas (I don't like mushy peas).

Everything was great, including the service. The fish was fresh and the batter light. The chips were cooked perfectly. The plates came with a piece of lemon on them, but there was also tartar sauce and condiments on the table.

The only problem was that we were put next to a radiator, which was too hot. However, when the server realized we were too hot, she happily turned it down.

A very nice place and a very interesting atmosphere.

It has been there for more than 30 years and attracts an array of celebrities, according to the friend who took me there and the restaurant brochure. 13-01-09
