Sainsbury's is a large chain of supermarkets with branches all over the UK stocking an extensive range of dairy products, fresh vegetables, meat, frozen foods and much, much more. Also, Sainsbury's has become the first European grocery chain to offer Skype eVouchers through a network of 500 stores throughout the UK. This branch has a delicatessen, bakery, fish and meat counter, kosher products and baby changing facilities.

watch the crazy people - Our local Sainsbury’s (literally a 2 min walk from our flat) is massive and must be the only big one in a 10 mile radius b/c drones of people shop there. It’s ALWAYS busy except for early mornings when they open at 7am. It sucks. The queues are long, you dodge people left and right as they hit our cart, they stock shelves during the busiest times, and they are almost always out of something on my list. Yet we’re forced to shop there (unless I can plan ahead and do Ocodo home delivery). I will say, however, that Sainsbury’s does stock a lot of stuff so you get a good range but funnily they don’t stock mung beans or mixed bean sprouts which we always use in our salads.

Luckily Waitrose is opening up next door to them (thank goodness!) to spread the crowds between 2 stores instead of one. And a Planet Organic just opened but a 10 min walk so when lazy, I still end up going to my nightmare store.
