Very poor customer service - My first ever experience of buying glasses was terrible here. I feel that my naivety with owning glasses was taken advantage of and I was pressured into an expensive purchase that I didnt really need. After making a complaint, they treated me like a villain and spoke to me like I was stupid.

Avoid.

Eyes Right! - I have bought several pairs of glasses from Optix at Broadgate over many years and have found their staff professional, helpful and friendly, plus their product range is truely amazing! Quality never comes cheap, but they'll price-match or download discount vouchers from their website: www.optixuk.com. I highly recommend them!

Through the looking glass - Over the years I have been going there, I have always found the staff and owner of the business very friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable about their industry and latest trends. They stock an extremely wide range of high quality products and I have always been pleased with my purchases.

Look but don't buy - Some nice frames, but very, very expensive. I found my frame + lenses £177.50 cheaper on the internet. Plus, they managed to not only rip me off by pretending that I ordered something I didn't (I then had to paid for an item I didn't want and couldn't return) but I had trouble getting details out of them about the different lenses etc when I asked direct questions. Conveniently they just sold the most expensive ones. I've been buying glasses with a strong prescription for over 20 years and I have never been messed around and belittled as I have by these people. A very negative experience and after all that, I have since found out that my lenses are not the prescription I ordered! I now risk ruining my eyesite if I read too much!!!
