The Roebuck is a pub that serves a variety of beers, wines and spirits as well as a selection of traditional pub food. Catering for private parties of up to 40 guests (in a function room) is available request. They also have a garden area where they have barbecues in the warmer months and occasionally have live music. Children are welcome.

Roebuck - After a visit there (the first and last) i was unhappy to see how expensive the roebuck was and the food, well lets just say i would of being better having a mcdonalds..one customer less for the roebuck.. 15-11-09

Off the beaten track - Sometimes if you're prepared to go a little of the beaten track you can find a nice little pub. NB: This is definitely a pub and not a boozer. Generally if I go to the pub I'm there with a couple of friends and I prefer quiet pubs to Soho-Friday-Night-queueupfifteenminutesforabeer type establishments. If you prefer the latter, then the Roebuck is definitely NOT for you.

This is a pretty clean, quiet pub which feels like someone's just turned their front room into a drinking den to beat the credit crunch. The staff are all friendly but not necessarily that happy for you to stay on past 11:15.

Plus, it's much nicer than the super-expensive rah pub The Fentiman Arms. 20-10-08
