Appalling service, immoral staff - Avoid London Residential at all costs. They are dishonest, untruthful and immoral. The staff we dealt with were rude, offensive and obnoxious.
We negotiated a 12 contract with 6 month break clause with the estate agent and paid a deposit on this basis. They then denied the 6 month break clause had been negotiated and the paperwork went mysteriously 'missing'.
We were a bit miffed and said we only wanted the house on the terms we had agreed. The next day, I was abused, insulted and shouted at over the phone by the manager (whilst I was at work!), I was called a 'liar' a 'cheat' and 'underhand'!. (they still has £600 of our money at this point!)
A particularly unpleasant woman called later to say they'd taken a deposit of someone else for the property and it was no longer ours.
I went to the office to get the deposit back and was greeted by the rude woman who would not make eye contact, didn't say a word to me and just shoved a cheque in my hand (giving me a papercut in the process).
Avoid avoid avoid!

NB. I had to give it one star, I couldn't give it zero! 23-03-11
