Charing Cross Hospital London Reviews

First-rate malpractice - Would have been 0 if I could have.

I have never had so many people lie to me and mislead me in so short a period of time, never been given the brush-off so much, never felt so betrayed by so-called medical professional.

My Mom was transferred to Charing Cross with a brain hemorrhage. Once at Charing Cross, there was no plan for care, no rehabilitative therapy, no treatment. When questioned, the staff assured me that they were "observing" her, which, while I was watching, appeared to be spending about 30 seconds with her ever 4-5 hours, and otherwise doing the bare minimum to take care of her, similar to the care received in a poor quality nursing home.

Worse of all, the doctors only reacted and never did anything to treat for her proactively. In fact the doctors seemed really pleased that they had done surgery AFTER she sustained permanent brain damage (instead of during the three weeks she was there before hemorrhage increased enough to cause damage).

Broken ankle and handsome doctors - My life is still surprising me. I broke my ankle and for that reason I had a pleasure to enjoy Charing Cross Hospital for a few days. Sounds stupid but I'm really satisfied with the place!
First of all, I had a gorgeous vew from my window. I could jelously look at the London Eye and fuzzy buildings somewhere in Liverpool Street.
The staff was extremely friendly and served painkillers without even asking for them:) I had a tv set, landline (all international calls 10p/m) and nice company in my room.
Everybody usually complains about hospital food...Personally, I was more than happy. Menu was diversified and it was even possible to choose your dessert!
My aesthetic expectations were also totally fulfilled: doctors were handsome and nursers almost like from Vogue magazine ... And what's the most important, I felt really respected as a patient. Anyway, I don't want to come back there anymore.

PS- A big thank you to all my friends who have been supporting me all the time:)
