London Bridge Station is the oldest passenger terminus in London, dating back to 1836. Other than repairs to war damage, the station is much as it was in the early part of this century. It offers access south to Gatwick Airport and beyond to the Sussex coast, East to the coast again at Ramsgate and Dover, North to Luton (there is a frequent bus link to Luton Airport) and Bedford and West through South London.

London Bridge Railway Station London Reviews

Hail the damn thing! - Ok, I work in Borough Market, I do lots of 'doubles'(14-17 hour days) The last thing I want is to get home at some ridiculous hour, especially when I have to wake up before God!
So, what do I do? Pop of to London Bridge and wait for a 48 bus back to hackney? NO! Wait in line at the taxi rank on a friday night with some drunken city boy burping his nasty kebab in everyone's direction? NO,NO,NO...I don't go into the station, I stop on borough high street and hail the damn taxi(see what I did there?) Borough high Street (either side) is great for getting taxis, you might have to wait a couple of minutes before one turns up but sooner rather than later one will.
Good Luck, late night trekkers!
