Spectacular Spectacles Service - I bought the most expensive frames I'd ever had from this branch after having my eyes tested for the first time in a long time. That was done with courtesy, stimulating conversation and the highest professionalism. When the glasses were ready they were fitted by Rene with similar skill. Unfortunately, a few days later one of the lenses cracked. This was not the fault of Rene or the team at Leightons at all, it was due to temporary lens-grinding problems at the manufacturers. It went on to happen three more times. On each occasion Rene and team were helpful, apologetic and supportive even though it really wasn't their fault at all. In the end, after the lens makers finally sorted out the problem at their factory and the glasses were finally ready, Rene gave me an additional pair of prescription sun glasses free because of the inconvenience I had been put under. I felt this was amazing given that Leightons was not to blame at all. I have been left feeling that what you get from Leightons Putney is not just the most professional service you could ask for, but also a level of personal recognition of your needs and circumstances that in nearly fifty years of glasses-wearing I have never experienced before. Unquestionably the best.
