Horrible service, 2 items damaged! - I asked them to cut my belt shorter and gave my leather jacket to clean.

They told me it is going to be ready Tuesday next week. But when I came next week on Tuesday they asked me to come on Tuesday next week again to pick up my jacket, which I cant do as I fly away and need it now.

To pick up my belt I had to come three times - they also kept postponing it and when I finally got it, I realised that I can wear it again. I am extreemely unhappy with my belt now, because they cut it too short (we agreed to cut much less) and more than that - they damaged it, so I cant wear it again. When I ask to make it at least wearable - they told me I have to pay £12 more and refused to refund me. When I asked to get my jacket back they refused and said I have to wait till next Tuesday. But as soon as I am so unhappy with the belt, I asked them to cancel everything, which they rejected as well.

Very expensive - Perkins are great at alterations, but they charge a significantly higher price than other qualified tailors. I took a tuxedo jacket in for some simple alternations on the collar. They charged me 70 pounds. I thought it was a bit excessive for the work. The quality of work was good, just very expensive.
