Opera Opera Opticians London Reviews

horrible service and quality - I have experienced the most horrible customer service in this shop.
I bought a pair of frames there a week ago. I have quite bad vision so I was not able to see how good the frame sits on me. The lighting in the shop is quite bad and there are not enough mirrors available. So I had a proper look at myself at home and decided to return the frames as they do not suit it so good considering the price. All the frames there are really small which makes you think you have an elephant face Please note that for a apiece of sheer plastic you will have to pay not less than £270. Not bad business! The frames are not real retro, they are made to look like retro.
The shop does not provide refunds. None of the shop assistants will tell you that. I had 4 shop-assistants gathered around me when I was making a purchase and none of them said about no refunds! Please beware.

When I wanted to speak with the manager I was told that there are no managers in store and I would have to contact the head office. I wanted a telephone number but the head office can only be contacted through email. How thoughtful. The head office first agreed to do a refund less 30 per cent of the price, when I wanted to negotiate the retain percentage they had withdrawn the offer. As simple as that! The person who communicated with me via emails on head office behalf did not even introduce himself. So the whole thing really reminds of a simple scam. There are no managers available, there is no refunds for a piece of plastic and the prices are ridiculous (you can find the same glasses for 10 quid on ebay) and I think it is mainly aimed at tourists wondering around covent garden so that they do not have the possibility to return to the shop with complaints.
