The Mitre is a pub that serves traditional English food and a wide selection of drinks. On Thursdays they have a cocktail evening with prices starting at two pounds seventy-five. A resident DJ plays a mixture of House music on Friday and Saturday evenings. Students with NUS cards get discounts. They have a late license allowing them to stay open until Midnight during the week and until 1am at the weekends. They have an outdoor pool table which is a very popular attraction.
