Park Road Lido opened in May 2007 and is very popular with the locals. It consists of two pools, one for swimming and one for children. It offers timed sessions: lengths first and last thing and then a morning and afternoon session.

Outdoor Swimming - I discovered this lido which is only 5 minutes walk from my house when I drove past and couldn't understand what the 100m queue was about.
This newly opened lido is very popular with the locals on hot, sunny days.
I only go there to swim lengths as it does get busy during the day if the weather is good. The water is "refreshing" ie. extrememly cold, but if you love swimming but hate warm indoor pools this place is for you. It has changing rooms, lockers and hot showers.
