Be careful - After asking for my style to remain virtually identical, with only a 'tiny' amount of length removed and a little choppy texturising, I left the "salon" with at least an inch of length removed, 'straight-cut' hair and thinned out sides. The complete opposite of what I asked for. It took me months to grow it how it was and all I wanted was to maintain it as it was getting slightly to long. It was and still is a painful experience to have gone through such a unsolicited transformation. I advise anybody thinking of going here to strongly consider what it is they are after and whether or not Lucy's is skilful enough to deliver. If you care about hair then don;t take the risk. And if you do dare, then make sure you spell out what you want whilst they are doing it. I hate to be vitriolic about anybody, thats not my nature but I have had this happen to me to many times by people who don't put enough effort or care into their work. And it genuinely hurts. It felt as if I was receiving just another monotonous bog-standard haircut. What I wanted was basically ignored and they expected me to not care as much as them and its a shame. I'm not saying don't go I'm just saying if you care about your hair then think twice about where you go. Because after this experience Lucy's strikes me as a place I should avoid. Never use thinning scissors for texture! Any good dresser will tell you that. Its a cop out and the mark of an unprofessional dresser and will ultimately damage your style. Luckily Im a male so I can recover in a month or two maybe less, but if I was a female with hair down to my waist this would be a much more serious issue and would take years, as you can imagine. It only takes one google search to read about it. I only hope they read this and decide to think about what they are doing a little more and take the time to improve their approach to hair styling.
