The Three Crowns London Reviews

AWFUL - I would just like to write on a report on what I can honestly say is the worse, most overpriced roast dinner I have eaten for some time. Having lived in N16 for the past few years I have pretty much tried all the roast dinners in the pubs within the area. I went on the 14/11/2010 for a roast meal and was immediately very unhappy. We were shown to our table and ordered a meal. When my chicken roast turned up the first thing I immediately noticed was that it came with no vegetables and just a small amount of red cabbage. The whole meal was actually cold and tasteless, it had no flavour and was a massive let down - especially considering it was going to cost over 14 pounds once the service charge was added. We requested the bill and were also kept waiting for over 20 minutes.

All in all I would never return and would highly recommend that people venture across the road to the Jolly Butcher where they will find a much more reasonably priced, far tastier alternative.

One of the best pubs in London - The Three Crowns is one of the best pubs in London as it offers a brilliant vibe where different types of people come together and turn this venue into what is one of the coolest places to hang out.
The service is always very good, the patrons are all very relaxed and not bothered by what anyone else is doing (or wearing), and the music is quite good. It's recently been refurbished and I think the new management have finally got it right. The food, however, is generally quite good but the servings are quite small for the price paid.
For me the only thing missing is an outdoor area but with the new non-smoking laws in place, the air is now much fresher anyway.
On a sunny day it's easy to find a table as most locals are at other venues or Clissold Park, but if it's raining you might think twice about getting there early.
