mama mia!! - Mama mia, finally I have found a truly authentic italian restaurant.

Ciao Roma in Taunton is run by an italian, Bruno Palpini (even his name couldn't be more italian if he tried) and he comes from Rome!!!! The food is sensational and the staff give such an amazing service that you come away feeling part of the family and you truly believe that you have eaten the same food his Mama would give him at home. In fact he told me that a lot of the recipes are from his Mama, you just can't beat it.

After many disappointed visits to so called italian restaurants, run by non italians who think by serving pasta they can call themselves an italian restaurant I have found a genuine italian restaurant and it is fantastic.

The icing on the cake was that I didn't have to empty my wallet for a three course meal, the whole family enjoyed every plateful. The kids loved it, which is saying something as I think children are the toughest critics to please, the pizzas were homemade (including the base). Bruno also made kiddie size portions for the little ones.

I have been back with work colleagues as the atmoshphere is perfect for all parties (family, friends, business).

But don't just take my word for it, go and visit yourselves, you won't be disappointed.
