St James Beauty Salon London Reviews


Both good & bad feedack - Went there for underarm laser treatments. Only had 2 treatments but went well though my skin reacted and had red spots for over a week.
Still treatment was performed efficiently.
I am also currently going through a bit of electrolysis but my practitioner is quite a long journey away. As they also provide electrolysis and are fairly close to me I decided to give it a try there.
The russian lady who originally treated me was wonderful, very skilled, gentle yet efficient. I was extremely happy with the treatments I had with her.
Unfortunately she left and no one bothered to inform me when I booked my next appointment. Next thing I know I am in the hands of a lady who appears neither confident or skilled. She was either under treating me or over treating me. No half-way! So one minute I was feeling my skin burning to catch one hair and another minute another hair was being plucked out with the tweezer! Very expensive tweezing sessions which also left me with a bad reaction where I was being burned.
When I complained, the lady got worried and simply said it was best not to carry on. Though I booked a 20mn session when I went to reception to pay for the shorter treatment I had: 10mn session, she insisted that I had to pay for at least 15mn... Now I wasn't impressed at all!
Not only my treatment was poorly performed and therefore had to be cut short but I was asked to pay for a longer session than I had!

Though I am happy with the laser treatment, I will simply finish my package with them and make sure this is as far I go in terms of spending money with them.
For electrolysis, I'd never leave my skin in their hands and out of principle best to spend my money where people deserve it.

Laser Hair Removal - I booked in for a laser hair removal treatment and after the treatment my skin was red hot. It hasnt calmed down and Im really worried about what was done at the salon. I consulted my doctor who classifeid my symptoms as 3rd degree burns. I have notified the local authorities as suggested by my GP, but feel I should speak out against the treatment I payed for and received.

exel therapist - Hi,
i am regular client of st james beauty and always have exel tretments and the most important quik service. Only receptionist is very rude, i dont know where she is from but she is very rude.

Nice Salon, therapist very efficent - I do read these reviews but l like to make my own mind up. I had waxing done at this salon and l was very happy. Fast efficent and friendly. Place is extremely clean and modern all the right boxes ticked for me, great location near Scotland Yard and full range of Dermalogica products which l use. Also have vitamins apparently used to be a Health food shop for many years so l bought Solgar vitamin c there.
I have already booked another appointment with them, lovely Russian lady did my bikini line.

The Worst Waxing Clinic Ever - I went to this salon for a wax and the staff were so ruse, especially the fat short haired owner, who refused to give me my money back.
Very unprofessional, I now see quite a few bad reviews from various websites which I should have read before going there!
Keep away from this unprofessional place!
