culinary mishmash by candlelight - fish in a tie is a strange place.

strange in a nice way though. kind of like that odd relative that slightly weirds you out but you still love.

on the rather unattractive street that is falcon road, this unassuming place serves up everything from moules marniere to ostrich with bernaise sauce. and all in a poky but quaint candlelit restaurant.

i guess it feels quite french. with the superior staff to go with it.

the food though was pretty damn good. and at only £34 for 1 entree, 2 mains, coffee and wine you can't really go wrong. plus the lengthy (almost too so) menu means there's always an excuse to go back. 14-07-08
