I found the staff in the store particularly helpful and in fact you can find some really good bargains in the kitchenware particularly sale items and the staff will go out of their way to accommodate. I notice I have a dinner service in a cupboard bought in BHS 20 years ago - it's exquisite bone china. Ditto some fabulous lampshades they were always good for lighting and still are. Look for end of line items. My American friend lights to go for afternoon tea and scones and cream ..
