Awesome - The Rio is a super cute cinema on Kingsland Road - in fact I think it might be the only cinema for miles and luckily it shows good independent films.

Not much else to say really - they show good films, they sell salted popcorn and they have a toilet. Um that's kind of it.

One of London's best cinemas - Great one screen, art-deco cinema in Dalston that gets hard-to-find foreign and independent films. They also do small festivals (e.g. Kurdish Film Festival) and special nights (e.g. 'Future Shorts'), as well as daytime films for mums and kiddies.

Really nice staff, too - they offered to keep my Brompton behind the snack counter without me even asking :-)
